Locked Specifications

Nine Stages from Sample
to Shipment
Each stage has a defined owner, documented output, and a clear pass/fail criterion. Nothing moves forward without sign-off.
Sample Review & Buyer Sign-Off
Before any mass production begins, JSOrient produces pre-production samples that match the buyer's approved design, dimensions, material grade, surface finish, and packaging. Samples are shipped to the buyer for physical review. Mass production is only authorized after the buyer provides written confirmation. The approved sample is retained in our QC lab as the physical benchmark for the entire production run.
Production Technical File
A formal Technical Requirement Document is issued to every department involved in the production order. This file records all critical dimensions with tolerances, material specifications, surface treatment standards, color references (RAL/Pantone where applicable), functional performance requirements, and applicable certifications. It acts as the single source of truth for the entire production team and is version-controlled so any buyer-requested change is tracked.
Incoming Material Verification
All raw materials and components entering the production line are verified against the approved Technical Requirement Document before use. Our incoming QC team checks material certificates, conducts hardness and dimensional spot checks, and records batch traceability data. Non-conforming materials are quarantined and returned to suppliers. Material records are archived per order and are available to buyers upon request, providing a full chain of traceability from raw input to finished product.
First-Off-Tool Verification
The first units produced on the actual production tooling are pulled and subjected to a comprehensive first-article inspection (FAI). Every critical dimension is measured with calibrated gauges and compared against the approved sample and the Technical Requirement Document. Functional tests are performed. A First-Article Inspection Report (FAIR) is completed and signed off by our QC manager before full production volume is released. This step is mandatory--it confirms that production tooling and processes are capable of producing conforming parts consistently.
Continuous Line Monitoring
QC inspectors conduct scheduled and random in-process checks at each major production stage: forming, machining, heat treatment, surface finishing, and assembly. Sampling is conducted according to AQL standards. Any deviation triggers an immediate line stop, root-cause analysis, and corrective action before production resumes. In-process inspection records are maintained in our production quality log, which is tied to the order number and available for buyer review.
Final Batch Sampling Inspection
Once the full production batch is complete and packed, our QC team draws a statistically valid sample from finished, packaged cartons using AQL 2.5 for critical defects and AQL 4.0 for minor defects. Each sampled unit is inspected against the golden sample, the Technical Requirement Document, and the buyer's packaging specifications. Dimensions, function, appearance, labeling, and packaging integrity are all checked. A Final Inspection Report is issued. Any batch that fails AQL is reworked before the report is closed.
Pre-Shipment Loading Verification
Before the container is sealed, our team verifies the total carton count, gross weight, shipping marks, and container condition. We confirm that only inspected and approved goods are loaded. A packing list, carton measurement record, and loading photo set are compiled and sent to the buyer before the container departs. This gives buyers documentary evidence that what was inspected is what was shipped--no substitution, no shortfall.
Live Video Walkthrough for Remote Buyers
For buyers who cannot travel to China, JSOrient offers scheduled video inspection sessions via video call. Our QC team opens cartons on camera, demonstrates product function, measures key dimensions against the approved sample, and shows packaging and labeling details in real time. Buyers can direct the inspector to specific items or areas of concern. The session is recorded and provided to the buyer as a permanent quality record. This service is available at no extra charge for orders above our standard MOQ.
Independent Agency Access
Buyers may arrange third-party inspection by any accredited agency of their choice--SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, QIMA, or others. JSOrient provides full factory access, product samples, material records, and QC documentation to the appointed inspector. We do not restrict or interfere with the inspection process. If the third-party report identifies a non-conformance, we take corrective action at our cost before shipment is released. Our willingness to accept independent oversight is the clearest signal that our internal quality system is genuine, not performative.
